Feeling small around the
tall buildings in the centre of city |
In my final days of
Brazil as well as in
South America, as I find myself back in
Sao Paulo, the 1st place where I first arrived in South America about 6 months ago. Time flies, as it is just about another 1.5 months before I return to
Singapore.
The few days in
Sao Paulo allowed me to catch up on my house-keeping of travel plans and planning for the next 1.5mths on the road; the opportunity which I never had over the last couple months without a proper computer access after my netbook got stolen.
For that reason, and since having been in
Sao Paolo previously for a couple of days, I did minimal sightseeing. My impression of this city when I was first here was nothing exciting, and that didn´t change much on my return of this trip.
Downtown
I spent some time visiting some sights in down town, and feeling small while walking along the narrow streets flanged by the tall skyscrapers.

Also visited
Independencia Park, when I joined Melissa and her friends while they skateboarded around the area.
It contained a huge park and a long & wide sloping passageway, ideal for skateboarders to do their downhill tricks and stunts.

Dancing Forro
 |
Forro club |
It was also for the first time yesterday that I went to a Forro club, and danced Forro - considering that I had been travelling in
Brazil for almost a month, I never ever had the opportunity until last night, also my last night in
Brazil.
Danced between a couple within close contact, a by-stander watching Forro would think it was some form of a sensual dance, as both bodies join close together and move like one.

Not knowing how to dance Forro before, I stumbled initially to learn the steps. Was even invited a couple of times by strangers in the crowd, whom I had to disclaim that I did not know how to dance Forro at all.
A couple of lessons and my 4th dance later, I was seen doing turns and spins too... it helps when there is a good lead! :) Great fun, though I will definitely need more lessons if I am intending to pursue this further.

Time to get prepared to leave the continent for
Europe! Looking forward to being pampered by the service staff on Singapore Airlines!
