Barely after touching down in
Barcelona after only a 2 hour sleep (
9.5hr flight), I was whisked off by Alain on his motorbike to visit
Park Guell, a park that was designed by the infamous Gaudi.
The weather was cold, and being on the motorbike with the cold air blowing as we drove by, made me feel the chills through the layers of clothes on my skin. It was nice to be back in
Barcelona again, and view it from a different view - on motorbike.

About 15 mins ride later, we had arrived, and since we got there at about 6pm, we prayed that it had late opening hours. It was a huge park, and the park was pleasantly landscaped with notably famous marks of Gaudi speckled across the park.
Its twisted columns, arched corridors, coloured tiles etc shouted out "Gaudi" on many occasions, and least to forget the infamous gecko at the entrance of the Park to welcome visitors.

We spent over an hour walking around the park, before heading off to get a drink and dinner. With the few days I have in
Barcelona, there are just so many things to see and do, and getting to go here on the 1st day I arrived at least help me cross out one of the things I had wanted to see on this trip.
I had a problem however as I have been switching between languages in a span of 3 weeks... Spanish, Portuguese and now back to Spanish again, and it was tricky for the first few hours, as I find the word "Obrigada" (
Thank you in Portuguese) at the tip of my tongue whenever I was going to say "Thank You" and constantly had to remind myself that I am in
Spain!
1 more week of Spanish before I head to
Morocco, and think they are mainly French speaking! Wonder if that means I need to learn another language especially since I will be there for 3 weeks and another week in
Paris!
