Day 240 : Girona

Girona is a small and compact medieval town, and worth staying at least a day to visit the beautiful sights the city has to offer.  Most of its sights are centred within the Old Town, enclosed within the ancient walls.

Atop Ancient WallsOne can spend a couple of hours just walking the entire stretch of the ancient walls from one end to the other, and admiring the views of the town from atop the walls.
Other key sights within the Old Town includes the Cathedral, The Collegiate Church of Sant Feliu,  the Jewish Quarters, and even just taking a relaxing walk along the riverside and soaking in the view of the city.
