Last 2 days in Bogota - didn´t do much except for catching up with some of Robin´s friends when I got back, as well as got the chance to eat at Juan Pablo´s (a friend of Robin who operates a cafe round the corner where he stays) cafe, which had just recently re-opened after it had been under renovations for the last 2 weeks.
Took the opportunity to try something off the menu, and was strongly recommended the roast beef sandwich by Juan and his regulars. Yum!
I was also glad to finally received my passport with the new visa for Brazil, and the date it was issued... 10th January (!) - the day I actually went back to the embassy, hoping to get my passport back after knowing that visas for Singaporeans is no longer required in Brazil for up to 30 days of travel.
Don´t understand why they tell applicants they need 10 working days to process the visas in the 1st place!
I headed over to Robin´s office after collecting my passport to say my goodbye´s to him and Miguel, and quickly boarded a taxi and headed for the bus terminal.
It is going to be a 14 hours bus ride to Santa Marta!
