The first most important thing I had to do in Bogota was to make my visa for Brazil, in order for me to attend Carnaval in Rio, as well as to catch my flight out to Barcelona! My earlier visa had expired, and thus I made my way to the Brazil Embassy.
I was surprised to hear that it would take 10 working days to make the visa (I don't know why it takes soooo long)! I showed them an old e-ticket that I had earlier booked from Bogota to Sao Paolo prior to my trip extension, which had a departure date of the 17th, and asked if they could speed up the process.
Unfortunately the best I can do was to have my passport back by the 13th of January. So which means I need to be here till at least next Friday... sigh... that screws up some of my plans, and plus I need to try to fit whatever I want to see within the 30 days visa that they had given me when I arrived into Colombia!
Tough situation!
