I was contemplating on going on a horseriding trip today, as the weather apparently over the last few days has not been great and it was rather cloudy when I got out of bed.
The rain had also eased by the time we reached, and the owner Alvaro showed us around the stables, including a new born horse which is 20 days old! It sure look big for 20 days! It was also very shy, as we tried to pet it, but it kept running behind its mother!
After a few hours of contemplation and after seeing some moments of sunlight and clear patches in the sky, I decided not to hesitate further and asked the hostel staff to arrange for a horseriding trip on my behalf. Surprisingly, I was told that the horse will be brought to the hostel door in 5 minutes!!!
It has been sometime since I last rode a horse, and miss the feeling. I was extremely ecstatic that when I got on the horse, I was soon cantering away to meet up with another group who was on their way towards the valley.

The view along the way was amazing as we trotted and cantered along, with my horse Beolin, which was such a darling to ride on! About 1.5 hours later, passing through the valleys, crossing rivers and tunnels, we arrived at a spot where we were asked to get off the horse and head towards the waterfall. I wasn't aware and had not prepared myself for this, thus was not in total bathing suit.
Nevertheless, we walked towards the falls and after much coercing I decided to take a quick dip in the extremely cold water mainly for the photos. Am I glad I was not in a pair of underwear which had a mickey or minnie mouse design on it (not that I have own one anyway!)!

After about 10 mins, we made our way back to our horses and proceeded to head back to town, when it suddenly rained! We took shelter at a barn, while chatting and viewing photos, before deciding that we shall proceed in the rain. Putting on ponchos, we got back on our horses and quickly galloped back to town.

My shoes were totally drenched by the time we reached the stables, and my butt was definitely sore by then! But I was glad that I made the decision to go horse riding in any case.
