My last night in
Cali, as we headed over to a stadium which holds free performances of live bands playing salsa music during the Feira period.
There were long queues as we waited for our turn to go in, and upon entering, found ourselves in a huge open space area with many ¨warehouse¨ like space, with vendors selling extremely old LPs of salsa legends and other salsa music collection, as well as food vendors selling various local food items.
We browsed around the stores before deciding to head out into the open air to find a spot and wait for the live band to start playing. In a few moments, the band started and people around us started dancing to salsa.
We were no exception as Luis being the only guy, rotatedly dance with each of us. Was good fun, and I finally got to put my salsa classes to good use (
had danced on a couple of occasion over the last few days as well)!
Luis also got hassled by one of the ¨lady boy¨ when he saw Luis dancing with us.. Hilarious!

P.S. Not sure if it is visible, but I just got an overdued haircut before heading for the open air salsa, complimentary of Luis' mum who is a hairdresser!
