I am on my way to South America, which will take me a whole day of travelling, due to a transit and waiting time of 5hrs at Sao Paulo Airport before flying to Natal!
On one hand, I am excited about going to South America, and on the other, there’s some fear – due to safety and also language, since lesser people will be able to speak English.
Furthermore, as my first stop is Brazil and Portuguese is used here, it means I will have to pick up a whole new language from scratch, and fast! It is said to be similar to Spanish though, so I just have to hope that what I had learn in Spanish so far will be able to help me through this country!

Thought you gonna be in central Europe for longer, I'm gonna be in Germany on 23/09/2011 and driving down though France, Spain and then to Portugal. Will then drive back to Hamburg, Germany by the 14/10/2011 for a total of 5,000kms.
